I know what it’s like to want to share a story and not have the money to do it.

Every step costs something—editing, formatting, preparing a manuscript for publishing—and when you’re starting out, it adds up fast. Most new authors either give up or try to figure it all out alone.

I’ve been there. I had to learn every step myself.

That’s why I created Castellan Press.

Not just to publish my own work, but to help others who have a story and don’t know how to move forward. This isn’t about getting rich. It’s about giving someone a real chance.

We offer basic editing, manuscript preparation, and formatting for both eBooks and paperbacks. The full cost to help an author through this process is around $650, though some may only need part of that.

But it doesn’t stop there.

Authors we work with are also listed on our website at no cost, giving them exposure across a wide platform. Their books are also included through Castellan Publishing on Etsy. We stand behind the authors we accept, helping give their work visibility and a place to grow.

I would rather absorb part of the cost if it means helping an author reach a wider audience and giving their story a chance to be seen.

All authors are selected based on the values and standards of Castellan Press, creating a space that is thoughtful, respectful, and appropriate for a wide audience.
